Photo bingo ideas

Wedding photo bingo

Give guests something to do between the ceremony, the portraits, and the first dance. A photo bingo board mixes the tables, starts conversations, and leaves the couple with a guest-eye view of their whole day.

Why Tilesy fits

The Wedding day pack fills the 5×5 board with reception prompts — decor details, guest moments, and the big events — so guests hunt for the story of the day instead of staring at their tables. Premium unlocks unlimited players, which a wedding-sized guest list needs, and the couple can revisit the full photo recap for 7 days.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Define the play area and any rooms or zones that are off limits.
  2. Create the game: pick the pack, set the timer, and choose the center free tile.
  3. Share the 6-character game code and wait for everyone in the lobby.
  4. Confirm the ground rules — then start and let the board do the rest.

Sample tiles from the pack

Real prompts from the Wedding day (Premium) board:

  • Bride's bouquet
  • Something blue
  • Champagne glass
  • First dance
  • A speech

Facilitation and safety tips

  • Agree with the couple on what should stay off camera, and never block the photographer's shots.
  • Photograph guests only with their permission — collect details and decorations instead.
  • Announce the game after the ceremony, and share the winning board with the couple afterwards.

Pack note: Includes prompts that ask players to photograph the wedding party and guests. Discuss with the couple before sharing the game code.

Common questions

Before you host

What is Tilesy?

Tilesy is a real-world multiplayer photo bingo game for iPhone and Android. A host creates a game and shares a six-character game code, and players race to fill a 5×5 bingo board by photographing real-world prompts with the in-app camera.

Is Tilesy free?

Tilesy is free to download and free to play. Free games support up to 4 players with no limit on the number of games, and include two packs: Household hunt and Nature hunt. An optional one-time Premium purchase unlocks unlimited players and all packs.

What does Premium include?

Premium is a one-time purchase — pay once, no subscription. It unlocks unlimited players per game, all challenge packs, photo downloads, and 7-day photo history. Packs are not sold individually. Current local prices are shown in the App Store and Google Play.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Nobody creates an account. Players install the app and join each game with a display name and its six-character game code.

Does every player need the app?

Each player joins from their own iPhone or Android phone with the game code. A pair or a small group can also share one phone and play as a single player entry. The website is for information only — games run in the app.
