Why Tilesy fits

The School & kids pack is family-friendly throughout and built for school teambuilding, classroom activities, and kids' parties. Teams sharing one device keep a class within the player count, Trust mode keeps rounds moving without the teacher refereeing every photo, and the results reel gives the class an instant show-and-tell.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Define the play area and any rooms or zones that are off limits.
  2. Create the game: pick the pack, set the timer, and choose the center free tile.
  3. Share the 6-character game code and wait for everyone in the lobby.
  4. Confirm the ground rules — then start and let the board do the rest.

Real prompts from the School & kids (Premium) board:

  • A globe
  • Star shape
  • Library book
  • Friends laughing
  • Taller than you

Facilitation and safety tips

  • The teacher should supervise, follow school and guardian-consent rules, and keep the code private to the class.
  • Prefer object prompts over faces where policy requires it, and keep student work and records out of frame.
  • Free games are deleted after 24 hours, which keeps classroom photos short-lived by default.

Pack note: Designed for school and family settings. Get teacher or parent approval before sharing the code with minors. Photos of children should follow your school's photo policy.

Common questions

Before you host

What is Tilesy?

Is Tilesy free?

Tilesy is free to download and free to play. Free games support up to 4 players with no limit on the number of games, and include two packs: Household hunt and Nature hunt. An optional one-time Premium purchase unlocks unlimited players and all packs.

What does Premium include?

Premium is a one-time purchase — pay once, no subscription. It unlocks unlimited players per game, all challenge packs, photo downloads, and 7-day photo history. Packs are not sold individually. Current local prices are shown in the App Store and Google Play.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Nobody creates an account. Players install the app and join each game with a display name and its six-character game code.

Does every player need the app?

Each player joins from their own iPhone or Android phone with the game code. A pair or a small group can also share one phone and play as a single player entry. The website is for information only — games run in the app.
